An Amazing Weekend
Well, we had an amazing weekend!
A family picture with the Kenny's on Saturday. Where we heard that cousin Nick is engaged, Paul-Beth's wedding is next summer, and Jessie got a new job. From the family gathering Corey and I went home for a relaxing evening, watching movies and eating chocolate covered strawberries!
On Sunday we went to see 'Pirate of the Caribbean'....we really liked it, but it isn't as good as the original in my opinion.
Also, keep your eyes pealed for the new PEI Rock station. K-Rock 105.5fm....it is currently running an on-air 'test feed', but it will officially launch on tomorrow at 5:00pm! It's so exciting....the website is down right now...but it's www.krock1055.com so be sure you check it out tomorrow.

today's riddle...
I remember back in jr. high school, we use to pass notes all the time, it was so much fun!
Can you figure out the riddle “Passing Notes? I’ll post the answer tomorrow…
Corey has a major crush on Autumn. During study hall, he finally gathers all of his courage and writes her a note asking her out on Saturday night. The note passes to five students (who all read it) before it gets to Autumn. Just as Autumn gets the note, Mrs. Wilson the teacher confiscates it. After reading the note, she wants to know all who were involved in the note passing incident. She questions her students, and receives the following responses.
·The girl studying English passed it to Paul who passed it to the girl in green.
·Josephine passed it to the boy in blue who gave it to Alexis who was reading.
·The girl in black gave it to Jill.
·Jack first gave it to Mary who was studying English.
·The girl in black who was reading got the note from Derrick.
Mrs. Wilson remembers the following facts from study hall.
·Paul was wearing yellow.
·Derrick was studying French.
·The girl in green was studying science.
·The person wearing red was not studying math
From the information given by the students, can you determine what color each culprit was wearing, the subject they were studying and the order that they received the note?
I'll post the answer tomorrow....

Proud Parents
No, I'm not pregnant, but we did decide to add a new member to our family, “Eko”. He is a young budgie. He is mostly yellow, with a blue belly….and really cute!
Eko is also very smart, we only got him yesterday, and he is already getting comfortable sitting on our fingers and ‘stepping-up’ (hopping from one finger to the another finger or perch).
Eko hasn’t said anything yet, not even a chirp…but Corey is determined to teach him to talk! (Even though we had Hugo for 5 months, and he never said anything).
Eko loves his swing! It is really cool to watch him climb up on the swing, and then make it go back and forth! We truly are ‘Proud Parents’! :)

My Weekend
Well, we had an amazing weekend!!!
Friday night Corey’s cousin’s Chris and Robin were on the island, so we had supper with them, their folks and Tremere clan.
Saturday as sooooo hot! We went “yard sale’n”. It’s the perfect place for me to shop…everything is .25 or .50 cents! Then we went strawberry picking, walking, and finished the day with ice cream at the Jazz and Blues Festival. (For future reference…if you’re not a BIG Jazz and Blues fan, DO NOT GO to the Festival…)
Sunday, we went to church, relaxed a bit at home, and then went over to enjoy mom, dad, and their amazing pool! We had a lovely visit, with enough food to feed a small army! Then the four of us headed over to the driving range to show off our golfing skills! Mom was the most impressive. I never knew that you could hit the ball, have it bounce off the tee, and right back on to the tee…hehehehe….it was hilarious!!!!!
Now I’m back at work….only five more days ‘til another weekend.
Love you allKeep Smiling!
