I'm now 25 years old!

Happy Birthday to ME!
So yesterday, Sept 17th, was my 25th birthday...I’m now one quarter of a century old....WOW!
It was an amazing day! I woke up at around 5:00am...and I laid in bed thinking of the day, thanking God for the past 25 years, for all the people in my life, and praying for the next 25 years. Then at around 7:00 Corey and I got the call...we had 15min to get dressed, grab a coffee and get down to Victoria park where we would be going on a hot air balloon ride!!!!! I was SOOOOOOOOOOOO excited! It was amazing!
We took off from Victoria Park, flew (more like floated) all across Charlottetown, and landed at the airport! It was such an awesome experience, one I will never forget! Then we went out for breakfast, and went home to get ready for church. After church we went home, relaxed, ate some lunch and opened a few presents. Corey surprised me with some new clothes, bath soaps/lotions, and a gift card for more to go and take figure skating lessons! I was so surprised!!! Jayne had been taking some lessons over the summer, and I mentioned how cool it would be to learn to spin...but I never thought that I'd get the chance. I think I want to get out on my skates a few times before I take the lessons (so I don't fall flat on my face the first day)...but I'm so excited!
We went out to my folks place for dinner and Aaron and Erica and the kids were home for the day, so we got to spend time with them and open a few more presents! All in all it was an amazing day! Thank you all for making it so special...all of the phone calls and emails were so nice to receive! I love you all!!!

Party Weekend

Well....it was a busy, busy weekend.

Friday after work Corey and I, along with Steph, Jayne and Jordan (Jayne's new man) headed to Moncton for some prewedding fun with Jason and Monique. We dropped off the boys at the Pump House, where they begin their evening, and us ladies went to Bogarts, and very nice, fine dinning restaurant in Moncton...I highly recommend their seafood linguini, it was amazing!!!!

From there Jayne, Steph and I went to crash the men’s party…but we were unsuccessful because they had already made their way over to Dooley’s. The rest of the evening was nice, we ended up at Monique’s house, where we chatted, and socialized with Monique’s friends. It is a nice evening, very low-key…not really a staquette, more of an evening for Monique to see all her friends/family. It was great to get to spend some more time with Steph and Jayne…and getting to know Jordan a little more.

Then on Saturday the parties continued! Kirk and Katherine had all of the radio gang over for an end of the summer party! It was nice to see all the radio guys, and to see Kirk and Kat’s new house…it is beautiful.

Then Sunday was my Birthday…HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!!!
On my next posting I’ll explain more the happenings of my big day!

Fun in Summerside

So, earlier this summer, Corey and I went to summerside for a weekend get-away. We met mom, dad, Joan and Al in at the Starlight Dinner for dinner, and then went to Anne and Gilbert at the theatre.

After the show Corey and I went camping for the rest of the weekend at linkletter, and to Cabot Beach....it was a great weekend!!!
